Osho ist einer der bekanntesten und provokativsten spirituellen Lehrer des 20. Jahrhunderts. Mehr als ein Jahrzehnt nach seinem Tod haben seine Worte ihre Kraft nicht verloren. Heute ist die Bedeutung von Osho auf der ganzen Welt unumstritten, und die aus seinen Vorträgen zusammengestellten Bücher sind in 47 Sprachen übersetzt. Osho ist 1990 verstorben. Er stammte aus Indien und war Universitätsprofessor, bis er sich entschloß, seine Einsichten in öffentlichen Vorträgen zu verbreiten. Das von ihm begründete Meditationszentrum in Poona zieht auch heute noch zehntausende Besucher aus aller Welt an.
